Lori Lightfoot is an attorney and politician who has been serving as the Mayor of Chicago since 2019. Before she became the mayor, Lightfoot practiced law at Mayer Brown. She has been with her partner, Amy Eshleman since 2001. They tied the knot in 2014 and even have an adopted daughter together.
Lightfoot made history as the first African-American lesbian woman to hold the position of mayor. Eshleman is a former public library employee and is now an educational activist. She is often seen with Lightfoot but keeps away from the limelight, herself. She is also twice as tall as the mayor!
