Gale Ann Norton served as the 48th United States Secretary of the Interior from 2001 to 2006 under the era of George W. Bush. She is also a diplomat and attorney who belongs to the Republican Party. Norton’s personal life has been rocky and she was married to Harold Everett Reed but the two parted ways after he was outed by a magazine for being gay.
She later went on to marry John Hughes after her divorce but when is not exactly known. Her private life is quite personal and not many details are disclosed. We do know that the couple love hiking and the outdoors.
