Howie Long and Diane Addonizio met in college and began dating while both were undergraduates at Villanova University. Addonizio was asked out on a date by Long, who invited her to catch a Football game with him on TV. They bonded instantly and were inseparable.
They became engaged after some time and married in June 1982. They welcomed their first kid three years later, and they now have two more children. They’ve remained for about four decades. Long followed a career in broadcasting upon retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons and works as a studio commentator for Fox Sports’ NFL coverage.
