Is there a more memorable pop tune than “Girls Just Want to Have Fun?” The American singer/activist Cyndi Lauper conquered the ’80s with her sweet hooks and disco-inspired basslines and is still active in the music industry at the impressive age of 67. And while she may have sold 50 million records worldwide, she has chosen to have fun with just one man: the American actor David Thornton.
Lauper and Thornton got hitched in 1991 and are still a loving couple today. They have one son together. Known for his appearances in John Q. and Home Alone 3, Thornton is currently filming the upcoming movie God Is a Bullet.
