That’s right: in 2022, the Guatemalan-American White House Deputy Communications Director Pili Tobar decided to step down from her role in Biden’s administration to join the private sector.
Before working in the White House, Tobar served as an aide to Senator Chuck Schumer. Tobar is highly private about her personal life, but she’s said to be married to a woman named Christina Carr, with whom she has a daughter. Additional details about their relationship remain undisclosed.
