Laura Kuenssberg is a multi-award-winning journalist widely regarded as one of the most knowledgeable political pundits in the United Kingdom. She started her career at NBC News before being named the BBC’s political editor in July 2015, making her the first woman to occupy that role.
Kuenssberg said in December 2021 that she would leave her position as political editor in the spring of 2022 to pursue a senior position at the network.
