Jonathan Finer (Principal Deputy National Security Advisor) – $180K
Jonathan Finer has been serving as the Deputy National Security Advisor under the administration of Joe Biden. He was previously known as the Chief of Staff and Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. Department of State for former Secretary John Kerry. He also previously joined the Obama administration as a White House Fellow.
Finer also established a career in journalism. He used this ability to act as a foreign and national correspondent at the Washington Post and later as an editor and reporter for the Far Eastern Economic Review. His continuous contribution to the current administration had him an annual salary of $180K.
