Mitch McConnell is a politician who has been the senior United States Senator for Kentucky since 1985. He started working as Senate Minority Leader in 2021. He is a member of the Republican Party and was elected for Senate in 1984. He is also the author of, “The US Senate and the Commonwealth: Kentucky Lawmakers and the Evolution of Legislative Leadership.”
McConnell has not been very lucky in the marriage department as his relationship with his first wife, Sherill Redmon who he married in 1968, ended in divorce. They have three children together. However, he found love again and in 1993 he tied the knot with Elaine Chao.
