American diplomat, attorney and politician, Forbes Kerry is not only the member of the Forbes family and the Democratic Party but is also the first United States special envoy for climate. He served under Barack Obama as the 68th United States secretary of state from 2013-2017 and is married to a Portuguese- American philanthropist and businesswoman, Teresa Heinz Kerry.

She is also the widow of former U.S. Senator John Heinz. Heinz and Kerry met at the Earth Summit in Rio. The two started dating in 1993 and finally it was in 1995 when the couple decided to tie the knot.
