Martha Kearney – BBC – Today – £250K

Martha Kearney’s broadcasting career started at LBC as a phone-in operator before she became a lobby correspondent and reporter there. In 1987, she joined Channel Four, reporting “A Week in Politics,” after which she joined BBC’s “Panorama,” “On The Record,” and “Newsnight.”

Kearney has interviewed every British Prime Ministers and has covered every election since 1987. She earned a BAFTA Award nomination for covering the Troubles in Northern Ireland. At the BBC, she’s worked at various channels, on different shows and as of 2021, BBC listed her salary at £250K.
