Sarah Montague was initially a stockbroker before she became a journalist in 1991 when she started working with Channel Television. She worked at Reuter’s and Sky news and joined the BBC in 1997 presenting “Newsnight” and BBC News. In 2002, she joined BBC Radio 4 and started the ‘Today” news program.

She’s hosted shows like “World’s Nobel Minds,” “HARDtalk,” and “The World at One.” At one point in her career, she realized that she was earning much less than her colleagues. When she showed her displeasure, she was compensated by the BBC in January 2020 and now earns £245K.
