Crystal Gayle

Crystal Gayle was also known as the real-life Rapunzel for her floor-length hair, which also contributed to her icon as a musician. Sister of singer-songwriter Loretta Lynn, Gayle established a name on her own and carved a different yet similarly successful career. She has become among the most successful crossover artists throughout the ’70s and ’80s.

Some of her biggest hits include the classics “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue,” “Ready for the Times to Get Better,” and “You and I.” She has earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Apart from music, Gayle also expanded into business and launched her fine arts shop.
