Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues introduced us to numerous supermodels who have created an impact, and one of the most unforgettable among them is Cheryl Tiegs. She appeared multiple times on the covers of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, one of which is this 1983 edition, where she was clothed in a yellow suit.
Tiegs also made it to the covers of Glamour, Elle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, People, and Time. The latter featured her for the 1978 “All-American Model” cover story. In 1980, she established her signature accessories and clothing line named Sears. It garnered over $1 billion in sales by 1989 and continues to flourish until the present times.
