Elton John and David Furnish – Together Since 1993
In Elton John’s life, things only happen when he lets them happen. Take his status as a gay man. He had been talking about his gay experiences since 1976. But it was only in 1992 that he officially allowed the media to refer to him as a gay man.
It was around about this same time that he met his partner David Furnish. They have been together since 1993 and eventually formed a civil union in 2005. They have since married and even have two children together. In 2021 Elton released a new album called “The Lockdown Sessions.”
