Actress Gabrielle Union felt frustrated and was at a loss for years because of misdiagnosis. Finally, doctors were able to find out that she was suffering from adenomyosis, which had caused her miscarriages. To help her deal with the condition, she had been seeing a therapist.

After trying to conceive through IVF for years, Union decided to resort to surrogacy. She welcomed her daughter Kaavia in 2018. The mother-and-daughter duo and Dwyane Wade were spotted attending the 2022 “Cheaper By The Dozen” premiere, and the girls wore matching attire on the red carpet.
