While he started his career as a child star, he had to hang his boots early because of Parkinson’s disease; opening up about this battle in 1998 and inspiring others who go through the same ordeal.
Since leaving Hollywood, Fox has dedicated his time and resources to finding ways to combat the condition, launching his namesake foundation. He also has a refreshing take on the situation, referring to himself as “Mr. Optimist” in a 2021 interview.
