It was meant to be: Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson first met while working together in the Bosom Buddies TV series, but they didn’t start dating until meeting again, this time at the set of the 1985 movie Volunteers. They tied the knot in 1988, and Hanks even converted to Wilson’s faith, becoming a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.
The two lovebirds have been living happily together for 33 years and have even survived a very publicized COVID-19 scare! They have two children, including the Empire actor/musician Chet Hanx. Always busy, Hanks is set to appear in the 2021 movie Finch.
