The American news reporter Jane Pauley started 2022 by hosting “CBS News Sunday Morning.” Active as a journalist since 1972, she rose to fame at the age of 25, when she was chosen to replace the legendary Barbara Walters as the host of NBC’s morning show “Today.” She reportedly earns an annual salary of $1.2 million.
Before becoming the “CBS News” host, Pauley appeared in the show as a guest interviewee and occasional contributor. However, the viewers liked her so much that the network decided to give her the main seat. In 2016, she replaced Charles Osgood as the “CBS News” primary host.
