The former lead anchor of BBC’s “Newsnight,” Emily Maitlis, takes on many roles in her career at the channel. She is not only a journalist but also a documentary filmmaker and was a former newsreader with the BBC. In fact, it was while working in Hong Kong that she met Mark Gwynne, the man who became her husband.
Considering her busy work life, we think it is miraculous that she has managed a husband and two kids for over two decades. It takes a toll on her family life though, but she has been making it work. She was even the one who proposed to Gwynne while vacationing in Mauritius.
