In 2017, Sabrina Dhowre and “Luther” star Idris Elba met in a jazz bar when she was out celebrating a friend’s birthday. It was her friend who spotted the actor in the establishment and wanted to chat him up, so she played her “wing-man.”
However, Elba thought that Dhowre was trying to catch his attention so he turned on the charm. In the end, it was them that clicked, and a year later, he popped the question. The couple got married in April 2019. She said they had a strong connection and that their values are connected, and have the same interests and comedy sense.
