Leslie Phillips (Born In 1924)
Leslie Philips is the oldest non-American on this list and the British star is known for his role in the comedy series, “Carry On,” as well as the film, “Doctor in the House.” He started acting when he was just ten years old and did several plays at the starting of his career.
He’s also a World War II veteran and served in the British army. He rose to fame in the ’50s after he got a role in the film, “Les Girls” and his most recent works include lending his voice to the Sorting Hat in the Harry Potter film series in 2011. He has now semi-retired.
