Nehemiah Persoff (Born In 1919)
Nehemiah Persoff, a retired actor and painter, appeared in more than 200 television series, plays, and films throughout his lifetime. Persoff’s career spanned over 50 years and began after World War 2.
He has lived over a century and was quite famous in his time for playing tough-guy roles such as gangsters in classic films such as “Al Capone,” “Some Like it Hot,” and “The Wrong Man.” However, Persoff was later known for his gentle roles in the ’80s. Today, he is known for being the oldest living male actor after the death of Norman Lloyd in 2021.
