JANIS PAIGE – (Born In 1922)
Janis Paige is best recognized for her work in musical theater and television as a singer and actress. In the early 1950s, she made the decision to quit Hollywood and concentrate on her Broadway career. Six weeks later, she was back in the movies again, starring alongside Bob Hope in Silk Stockings and then Bachelor in Paradise. The last time Janis made headlines was in 2017, when she published an article in which she claimed that when she was just 22 years old, Alfred Bloomingdale tried to force himself on her. She also had vocal cord injury as a result of this in the early 2000s, for which she needed a lot of time to recuperate.
