Michael York was born in 1942 and has seen a very successful career in the entertainment industry that spans decades. He has over 100 appearances on television, film, and theater. York is known for projects like “The Three Musketeers,” “Cabaret,” and the “Austin Powers” films.

He has also been nominated for an Emmy award twice. In 2009 he was awarded the Satellite Mary Pickford Award. Although he hasn’t officially announced a retirement, York is not seen around much, and that is due to a rare illness he was dealing with in 2012.
