Dustin Hoffman became one of the earliest adopters of the mainstream electric vehicle trend when he opted for a Tesla Roadster back when it was first introduced in 2008. The American actor and filmmaker had to wait for a few years for his ride to arrive after Tesla’s slow initial production run.
The all-electric eco-friendly roadster was soon a staple of luxury and status in Hollywood, with many A-listers bending over backward to get their hands on one. Hoffman will lead the cast of the family comedy-drama Sam & Kate, written and directed by Darren Le Gallo.
