Dating JFK wasn’t the only thing Audrey had in common with her colleague Marilyn. Author Truman Capote had actually envisioned the blond bombshell as Holly Golightly in the film adaptation of his novella Breakfast at Tiffany’s, so she was initially offered the role. When she declined it, Audrey was cast instead.
