Wendy Craig is an English actress famous for her roles in the sitcoms “Butterflies” and “The Nanny.” Craig began her acting career in the ’60s when she appeared in the series “The Gallows Tree.”
In 2016, Mary Goodman appeared in the BBC detective series “Death in Paradise.” In 2017, she featured in the second series of the ITV drama “Unforgotten.” Moreover, she starred as Miss Bat in the first three series of the CBBC program “The Worst Witch.” Craig and Jack Bentley, a trombonist, scriptwriter, and journalist, were married from 1955 until 1994 when the latter passed away. In 2020, she was awarded a CBE for her services to drama and charity.
