Petula Clark is an English singer, actress, and composer. Throughout her career, she has sold more than 68 million records and has become one of the most successful recording artists of all time.

Clark’s foray into the music industry began during World War II as a child radio entertainer on the BBC. In 1954, her first major UK hit, “The Little Shoemaker”, charted, and within two years, she began recording songs in French. She returned to the West End stage in London for the first time in 20 years in March 2019, playing the role of The Bird Woman in the revival of “Mary Poppins.”
