Anthony Hopkins – Born in 1937, Port Talbot
Anthony Hopkins is a Welsh actor and composer. He is one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation and has won several awards, including an Academy Award, four BAFTAs, two Emmys, and the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
Hopkins has had a lengthy and successful career, with his first-ever role being in 1967’s “The White Bus.” Since then, he has starred in various movies and television shows, most notably as Hannibal Lecter in “The Silence of the Lambs,” for which he won an Academy Award. In 2019, Hopkins was seen in the Netflix movie “The Two Popes” and the 2022 film “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
