Angela Lansbury is a legendary actress, singer, and producer best known for her role as Jessica Fletcher in the hit TV series “Murder, She Wrote.” Lansbury’s career began in the ’40s when she appeared in several films, including “Gaslight” and “National Velvet.” She appeared in many Broadway shows and won five Tony Awards.
In County Cork, Ireland’s southeast coast, Lansbury and her family have a retreat with a farmhouse-style design. This was created with the assistance of Stephen Pearce, her close friend, whose own home nearby served as the source of inspiration for the house. Lansbury wed actor Richard Cromwell in 1945, their union lasting until 1946.
