Les Dennis – Born in 1953, Liverpool

Les Dennis is an English comedian, actor, presenter, and game show host. He began his career as a stand-up comedian, performing in regional comedy clubs in the North West of England. After gaining a cult following, he became a regular on the BBC’s long-running sketch show “The Laughter Show.” Then he later became the host of the popular game show “Family Fortunes.”

Dennis married Lynne Webster in 1974, and their union lasted until 1990. He then tied the knot with actress Amanda Holden on June 4, 1995. In 2022, Dennis starred in the black comedy “Sideshow,” inspired by Stanley, a Man of Variety, and Peter Chelsom’s “Funny Bones.”
