Charles Dance – Born in 1946, Redditch

Charles Dance is an English actor known for portraying strict, authoritarian characters and villains. Having had a flourishing career on stage with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), Dance has since gone on to appear in numerous films and television shows.

In 1981, actor Roger Dance made his feature film debut in the James Bond film “For Your Eyes Only.” He is still not planning to retire soon. In January 2021, Dance was cast in the Netflix adaptation of the comic book series “The Sandman.” Through his role in “Gosford Park,” the actor won Critic’s Choice Movie Award for Best Acting Ensemble.
