The ’80s Witnessed a Lot of Things: 45 of Them Are These Rare Photos of Our Favorite Stars!
Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio
Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio might not be the most famous face you see onscreen, but the 1983 film “Scarface” would not be the same without her. She played the role of Gina Montana, Al Pacino’s character sister. Although she rocked movies in the ’80s, she admitted to the New York Times that she emotionally handled people who didn’t recognize her in public.
Nevertheless, Mastrantonio subsequently proved she deserved her spot in the industry. Her performance as Carmen in “The Color of Money” earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination and a Tony Best Actress nomination for the Broadway “Man of La Mancha.”
