Your first reaction upon seeing this picture was probably amazement and near-disbelief. Yes, it is indeed what you think it is: a pair of loafers designed from actual bread. Whether the vendor mistook the term “loafers” to mean a cross between bread and footwear is unclear.
If that were to be true, then it’s proof of the wonders that go through people’s minds. You do have to admire the creativity behind this, though. How many of us can boast of the ability to create shoes out of food? Of course, edible footwear is not a practical option, and the shopper certainly wouldn’t be wearing these.
