Claire Bloom is an esteemed English actress renowned for her leading roles in various plays, including “A Streetcar Named Desire,” “A Doll’s House,” and “Long Day’s Journey into Night,” and 60 other films. In 2010, Bloom portrayed Queen Mary in the acclaimed British movie “The King’s Speech,” for which she was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2013 Birthday Honours in recognition of her services to drama.
