“Fawlty Towers” star John Cleese owned a 1987 Bentley Eight for over 25 years. He sold the car in 2010 for £120K (approximately $190K at the time). The vehicle is a luxury grand tourer that was produced from 1984 to 1992. It is powered by a 6.75L V8 engine that produces 238 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. The car has a top speed of 130 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 9.5 seconds. In an interview, John said that he was selling his Bentley Eight because he was “getting too old” to drive it.

Rowan Atkinson, the English actor and comedian best known for his role as Mr. Bean, is also a passionate car enthusiast. Rowan purchased the car in 1997 for £540K (around $860K at the time). Unfortunately, he crashed the vehicle twice in 2011.
